Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are allegedly ready to settle down after four years of dating.

In its Nov. 8 issue, OK! magazine claimed that the Coldplay frontman already proposed to Johnson, and the actress said yes.

A source claimed that the happy couple agreed to tie the knot sometime next year. And they will be inviting their family and closest friends.

Other than the couple’s upcoming wedding, the source also claimed that Johnson and Martin are already trying to conceive. So, it’s allegedly only a matter of time before the Fifty Shades of Grey actress becomes pregnant.

Before he proposed, Martin allegedly asked permission from Johnson’s dad, Don and the latter gave the singer his blessing. Johnson’s mom, Melanie Griffith adores Martin so he didn’t have a problem asking for her permission.

“The news wasn’t a shock to their nearest and dearest, but there were a lot of happy tears. Everyone is thrilled for them and would only be more excited if there’s a baby on the way,” the source said.

Rumors about Johnson and Martin tying the knot heightened shortly after the latter professed his love for the former during one of his live performances.

Since Johnson and Martin have always been private about their relationship, fans were surprised with the singer’s sweet gesture. Before singing “My Universe” in front of a massive crowd, Martin told fans that his universe is in the room before pointing at his girlfriend.

This led fans to believe that Martin is ready to propose to Johnson. And they are also convinced that the couple will soon have a baby together.

However, there’s no truth to the tabloid’s claims that Martin already proposed to Johnson. Since the singer did not shy away from professing his love for Johnson, there’s no reason for him to not share details from his engagement.

The fact that Martin and Johnson have not said anything is more than enough proof that they are still not engaged.

If the couple is not yet engaged then all the more is it unlikely for them to be trying for a baby. It is also important to note that Johnson and Martin have very busy schedules and they might want to plan everything out.

But one thing’s for sure, Martin and Johnson are in love and their relationship could last a lifetime.
