Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson have been making headlines amid claims that they’re already engaged.

In its Jan. 4 issue, Star claimed that Martin got down on one knee recently. And the Coldplay frontman surprised Johnson with a $1.2 million engagement ring.

A source claimed that Johnson was blown away when Martin proposed to her.

“She knew Chris wouldn’t get her a traditional engagement ring, and she adores it, just like he knew she would,” the source said.

Now that the couple is engaged, the source claimed that they have started looking at houses in Los Angeles and in Santa Barbara.

The source said that Johnson and Martin are excited about what lies ahead. And they just want to keep the ball rolling.

However, the tabloid also confirmed that Johnson and Martin hadn’t said anything about their alleged engagement.

As such, it’s possible that the singer hasn’t proposed to his girlfriend of three years.

The insider also said that the couple already acts like a married couple, so they couldn’t be more excited to make things official.

Martin also, allegedly, asked for his kids’ approval if he could propose to his girlfriend, and they said yes.

After all, his and Gwyneth Paltrow’s kids adore the actress. Johnson also spends a lot of time with Apple and Moses. So, it’s highly likely that they will play an important role at the wedding.

The source also said that Martin and Johnson would most likely invite Paltrow to their wedding.

After all, the actress also has a wonderful relationship with Johnson. And she couldn’t be more thrilled after learning that her ex-husband already proposed.

The insider claimed that Paltrow was also instrumental in the couple rekindling their romance after they split briefly months ago.

Paltrow was the one that encouraged Martin to fight for Johnson, so he decided to court the actress again.

However, one should take the tabloids’ claims with a grain of salt. After all, there is no proof that Johnson and Martin are already engaged.

And there’s also no proof that the couple split, and Paltrow encouraged them to get back together.
