Prince Andrew Allegedly Banned From Staying In The Delivery Room While Princess Eugenie Gives Birth
Prince Andrew has, allegedly, been frozen out by the royal family from different royal engagements and Princess Eugenie’s delivery wouldn’t be an exception.
According to National Enquirer, Prince Andrew has been banned from staying in the delivery room when his daughter gives birth to her first child early next year. After all, the royal family doesn’t want to be associated with the Duke of York.
Prince Andrew was previously accused of sexually abusing underage girls in the 90s. But even though he hasn’t been convicted for his misconduct, the tabloid is saying that it’s only a matter of time before he gets locked up.
Since the birth of Princess Eugenie’s baby is such happy news, the tabloid said that having Prince Andrew there could taint the whole experience.
“It’s bittersweet because she knows the eyes of the world are on their family – for all the wrong reasons. There’s no way in hell he’ll be allowed anywhere near Eugenie’s delivery room,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It is possible for Prince Andrew to not be in the delivery room because there is a limited capacity during royal births.
Most often than not, only the royal couple is allowed in the delivery room. This means that Sarah Ferguson won’t be there either.
But after Princess Eugenie gives birth and she and her baby are at home, Prince Andrew and Ferguson will certainly visit them there.
The tabloid is simply preying on what happened during Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Following the ceremony, official wedding photos didn’t feature Prince Andrew.
According to royal insiders, the Duke of York attended his daughter’s wedding. And he was also the one that walked Princess Beatrice down the aisle. However, he simply wasn’t featured in the official photos.
But this doesn’t mean that the York family didn’t take a family photo with Prince Andrew in it. They must have taken several photos with Prince Andrew but they opted to not release it to the public to avoid more backlash.
Prince Andrew was also the one that decided to step back from his royal duties. The queen wasn’t the one that froze him out. But at the end of the day, the royals must have realized that it would be best for Prince Andrew to stay out of the limelight right now.
