Princess Diana passed away in 1997 without resolving her issues with Camilla Parker Bowles.

And according to reports, if the Princess of Wales knew what wedding gift Camilla gave to Kate Middleton in 2011, she would’ve been infuriated.

Back then, the Duchess of Cornwall gave the Duchess of Cambridge a bracelet with two C’s on it. One C signifies Middleton’s real name, Catherine, while the other C stands for Camilla.

In an article for Hello! magazine, journalist Ainhoa Barcelona talked about Camilla’s special gift for Middleton.

“Camilla presented Kate with a gold link charm bracelet that featured a disc engraved with both of their monograms — on one side, a ‘C’ for Catherine and a coronet, and on the other, a ‘C’ for Camilla and a crown. The bracelet is clearly a favorite with Kate and shows the strong bond the Duchess shares with Prince Charles’ wife,” she said.

But according to Express, Princess Diana would’ve been enraged if she found out about it. However, it is also unlikely for Middleton to develop such a close relationship with Camilla if Princess Diana is still alive. After all, she is her mother-in-law.

Camilla is known for giving her loved ones’ personalized gifts. Before the Princess of Wales passed away, she found a pair cufflink inside Prince Charles’ drawer. The cufflinks also had two C’s, which stands for Prince Charles and Camilla’s names.

“On our honeymoon, cufflinks arrive on his wrists. Two C’s entwined like the Chanel ‘C’. Got it. One knew exactly. So, I said, ‘Camilla gave you those didn’t she?’ He said, ‘Yes, so what’s wrong? They’re a present from a friend. And boy, did we have a row. Jealousy, total jealousy. And it was such a good idea, the two C’s, but it wasn’t that clever,” Princess Diana during a previous interview.

Meanwhile, Camilla and Middleton also made headlines this week amid claims that they had a confrontation recently.

According to Star, Middleton told Prince William that Camilla is turning into a wicked stepmother-in-law. After all, she has been giving the Duchess of Cambridge a slew of outrageous demands.

“Camilla has gone from helping Kate adjust to being a royal to meddling in her life. She wants to be looped in on official emails and included in their Zoom calls with royal aides. She’s even had quiet words with Kate’s staff regarding keeping her in the loop about her and William’s schedules,” the source said.
