Camilla Parker Bowles and Kate Middleton are allegedly struggling to get along these days.

According to Star, the Duchess of Cambridge complained to Prince William that Camilla has turned into a mother-in-law from hell.

Initially, Camilla and Middleton got along really well. In fact, the Duchess of Cornwall immediately took Prince William’s wife under her wing when she first joined the royal family.

But their relationship allegedly became strained after Prince Charles’ wife realized that Middleton is more popular than her. Camilla didn’t also how some royal fans are saying that Middleton should sideline Camilla and become the next queen consort.

Now, the Duchess of Cornwall has allegedly vowed to make Middleton’s life a living hell with her outrageous demands.

“Camilla has gone from helping Kate adjust to being a royal to meddling in her life. She wants to be looped in on official emails and included in their Zoom calls with royal aides. She’s even had quiet words with Kate’s staff regarding keeping her in the loop about her and William’s schedules,” the source said.

However, the tabloid also said that there’s no reason for Camilla and Middleton to fight with each other. After all, Queen Elizabeth is still the reigning monarch, and she’s not also going anywhere.

Despite rumors that Her Majesty has plans to abdicate because of her age, none of these claims have been proven to be correct.

Meanwhile, Star’s cryptic headline didn’t really have anything to do with their article. The tabloid claimed that Camilla urged Middleton to wait for her turn to become queen consort. However, the Duchess of Cornwall never said this to Middleton.

The source simply said that Camilla is envious of Middleton’s popularity. After all, it took her several years before she gained the respect of royal fans.

When Camilla joined the royal family, a lot of people didn’t like her because she had an affair with Prince Charles. The Duchess of Cornwall was one of the many reasons why the Prince and Princess of Wales split.

Still, the tabloid claimed that Camilla is reeling at the thought of Middleton leapfrogging her into the role of queen consort.

“And the rift between them has only widened after critics stated theorizing about why Kate should become the next queen consort, which infuriated Camilla,” the source said.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Camilla and Middleton are not feuding over their future roles.
