Meghan Markle has been called a lot of names, and she has also been criticized countless times.

Before joining the royal family, those who worked with her back when she was still an actress thought that Markle was a diva. In fact, a former cameraman previously revealed that Markle was dubbed as a princess on set because she was standoffish.

“Meghan was always having to be coaxed out of her dressing room because she didn’t think she looked pretty enough, or her outfits weren’t right or she felt she wasn’t getting prominent enough placement in pictures. There were always tears. Every time,” the cameraman said.

Every time Markle would arrive on set, she would, reportedly, be wearing a baseball cap to hide her face. Everyone thought that it was a diva coming in and she didn’t want the paparazzi to take her photos.

The cameraman also revealed that Markle has a so-called clique, who is composed of her friends that do nothing but laugh at other people. But despite all the criticisms, he said that Markle was a professional.

On top of these claims, Markle has also been accused of controlling her husband, Prince Harry.

According to Star, the Duke of Sussex has changed drastically since he married Markle.

“Meghan’s a master manipulator, and she wears the pants in this marriage. When she says jump, Harry asks how high. He used to be so carefree, but once he began dating Meghan, he turned into a totally different person because she had him on such a short leash. She banned Harry from seeing friends she accuses of being a bad influence, and they couldn’t believe how he caved in to her demands,” the source said.

But despite all the criticisms surrounding Markle, Prince Harry has never said anything negative about his wife. In fact, the Duke of Sussex has been protecting Markle since the very public criticism she received.

In 2016, tabloids published an offensive story about Markle based on the color of her skin and her race. Prince Harry then wrote a letter to the tabloids urging them to stop preying on his girlfriend.

However, the Duke of Sussex’s pleas fell on deaf ears. After he and Markle tied the knot, the criticisms became much worse. And even after they quit The Firm, the criticisms continue to make headlines
