Meghan Markle ‘Standoffish,’ Always Late On Set But Friends Say Duchess Is Loving, Caring
Meghan Markle has earned a negative reputation when she joined the royal family.
But according to a cameraman that she worked with, Markle’s diva side was already evident while she was still working in Hollywood. However, Markle’s friends were quick to deny the allegations.
While speaking with Globe, the cameraman, who requested to remain anonymous, said that Markle was dubbed as “the princess” on set because she was standoffish. Prince Harry’s wife was also, reportedly, always late.
“Meghan was always having to be coaxed out of her dressing room… because she didn’t think she looked pretty enough, or her outfit wasn’t right or she felt she wasn’t getting enough placement, Everyone thought, ‘She is acting is acting like an A-lister when she is not even a D-lister,” the cameraman said.
But despite the criticisms, the cameraman said that Markle was a professional. Once she hears the word action, she immediately gets into her character. And she’s also always ready to pose in front of the cameras.
Still, the cameraman said that Markle showed signs of insecurity and she was also quite spoilt. But while speaking with Express, Markle’s friends came to her defense amid the allegations that she’s a diva.
The pal said that Markle is such a loving individual because she loves her friends, and she’s also loving towards her animals. She also enjoys feeding her friends and taking good care of them.
Markle’s friend also said that these qualities didn’t change even after she married Prince Harry.
Meanwhile, Markle also made headlines this week amid reports that she and Prince Harry purchased their first home in Los Angeles.
According to Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s 14,563 square feet home costs over $14 million. However, they, reportedly, got a $9.5 million mortgage on the property.
The publication revealed that the house in Montecito has 16 bathrooms, game rooms, a gym, tennis courts, a five-car garage, and a tea house. Also known as the Chateau, the mansion was first built in 2003.
In 2009, the property was, reportedly, listed for $29 million. Some of Markle’s neighbors include Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey.
It was revealed in a statement that Markle and Prince Harry moved into their new home in July. They previously stayed at Tyler Perry’s mansion in Beverly Hills.
