Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres are, allegedly, struggling in their 11-year marriage.

According to In Touch Weekly, de Rossi finally snapped at DeGeneres following another tear-filled tantrum.

“She can’t take all the tears, yelling, and childish tantrums anymore. She’s done with trying to paper over the cracks,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that living with DeGeneres is not easy. After all, the Ellen Show host allegedly has crazy mood swings.

“She’ll go from being in an OK mood to mean-spirited at the flick of a switch if she doesn’t get her own way,” the source said.

According to the source, the coronavirus pandemic hasn’t also helped strengthen de Rossi and DeGeneres’ marriage. After all, being on lockdown together has made them realize that they can’t stand each other.

“Isolating at home together hasn’t helped their problems, though it wasn’t the cause of their problems, either. There have been lots of tears. Some nights, Portia and Ellen have even slept in separate houses because they couldn’t bear to be under the same roof,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that de Rossi and DeGeneres are having issues with trust and jealousy. Even though they’ve been together for so long, they both think that they could cheat on each other.

“She knows Portia is stunning and has seen people hit on her at parties – it drives Ellen crazy. It’s still crossed Ellen’s mind that another woman could become involved,” the source said.

As always, the marital problems of DeGeneres and de Rossi also involve issues with money. The comedian is allegedly selling most of her properties to get away from de Rossi and to make sure that she will be secured financially even if Ellen Show gets canceled.

“Ellen’s already selling off assets – her Santa Barbara home and a house in Hollywood have gone. She still has a huge property portfolio, so I wouldn’t be shocked if we see more houses go on the market. A $500 million divorce battle will only add to Ellen’s torment,” the source said.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. DeGeneres and de Rossi aren’t having problems in their marriage. Next month, they will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary.

And just like in the previous year, DeGeneres will most likely post about her wife on her social media account.
