Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres are, allegedly, on the brink of divorce.

Last year, Life & Style claimed that the happy couple is having problems in their marriage due to de Rossi’s career.

The Scandal actress has allegedly been pouring all her time and energy on her art company, General Public and this doesn’t make DeGeneres happy.

Throughout their 12-year marriage, the Ellen Show has allegedly been used to de Rossi tending to her and her needs. And this was the first time that de Rossi was busy with something else.

As such, DeGeneres couldn’t allegedly stop herself from being jealous. In order to get her wife’s attention, the comedian allegedly calls de Rossi nonstop.

Since the Ally McBeal alum is busy, she’s unable to pick up DeGeneres calls. And she also puts her phone on silent mode to purposely miss her wife’s calls.

As always, the tabloid claimed that these kinds of marital issues could result in the couple announcing their divorce. And their friends also allegedly think the same way.

However, an entire year has passed and DeGeneres and de Rossi still haven’t filed for a divorce. And by the looks of it, they aren’t splitting.

Next month, the couple will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary. And last year, DeGeneres posted a touching 11th-anniversary tribute for her wife on social media.

“Happy anniversary, Portia. 11 years. My favorite number with my favorite person,” she wrote alongside a photo from their wedding day.

Before they tied the knot, de Rossi and DeGeneres dated for three years. In 2015, DeGeneres planned a surprise for de Rossi that didn’t go as planned.

The comedian hired a plane that will fly a banner with a sweet message for her wife. However, the banner was too small that they both couldn’t read the message.

DeGeneres also detailed the surprise that she planned for de Rossi on her social media account.

“Portia and I started dating 15 years ago today. I hired a plane to fly by the house with a banner that said 15 with a heart. I should have specified the size,” she wrote.

In recent months, there have been rumors that DeGeneres is not what she seems on television. Several people have come forward and accused the funny woman of being mean.

But amid all the criticisms, de Rossi has been one of DeGeneres’ biggest silent supporters.
