Cher is allegedly keen on marrying her much younger boyfriend Alexander Edwards and even her kids couldn’t stop her.

A source told Woman’s Day that Cher is madly in love with Edwards and she doesn’t care if Chaz and Elijah do not support their union.

As for the brothers, Chaz and Elijah do not want their mom to end up alone for the rest of their life. But the siblings are allegedly worried that Edwards could just be using their mom for her money.

“Cher is furious that Chaz and Elijah are against her marriage. She’s blaming them for overshadowing her blissful happiness with Alexander. She refuses to understand that they’re worried and actually trying to help,” the source said.

The source added that there seems to be some form of miscommunication with Cher’s family because each one is struggling to get their points across.

“Elijah and Chaz couldn’t care less about Cher’s money – noting they both have careers of their own – but they simply fear their mother is moving way too fast with a man she doesn’t know,” the source said.

According to the source, some of Cher’s friends have also been urging the singer to listen to her sons. However, she’s refusing to do so because she’s smitten with Edwards.

“She’s been hellbent on marrying this guy and is speaking to her lawyers about adjusting her will to make AE her sole beneficiary,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Cher is keen on marrying Edwards right here right now. Even if the singer is madly in love with her much younger boyfriend, there’s no reason for her to rush into marrying him.

As of late, Elijah and Chaz have not publicly expressed their lack of support of their mom’s new relationship. So, no one knows for sure where the siblings’ minds and hearts really stand.

For years, Cher has had a complicated relationship with her sons. And it seems unlikely for the singer to want to rock the boat again just because of her relationship with Edwards.

As such, it’s obvious that the tabloid just made up this story about Cher, Elijah, and Chaz to pit the trio against each other. And it is also important to note that this isn’t the first time that they did so.
