Angelina Jolie allegedly refused to waste time when it comes to love.

In its Jan. 23 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Jolie has been desperate to find love for many years. Since her divorce from Brad Pitt, she has not dated anyone.

So, when she realized that she was interested in Paul Mescal, she immediately pounced on the actor and tried to pursue him.

“Angie thinks Paul’s beautiful and was in town and sensed an opportunity. She’s tired of simply being a working mom and keeping her love life on the back burner,” the source said.

The source said that Jolie also previously tried to get close to The Weeknd. However, their relationship did not progress into anything more than a friendship.

“Angie’s been all about focusing on her kids, her career, and her divorce since she busted up with Brad. Dating The Weeknd last year made her realize she’s still attractive to much younger men and she intends to make the most of her looks while she still can,” the source said.

Last week, Woman’s Day published a similar story linking Jolie and Mescal. But at the time, a source for the tabloid claimed that Jolie and Mescal have already been hanging out.

Even though things are not yet official between the A-listers, Jolie allegedly asked her staff to reach out to Mescal’s team so that she could get his number. And from there, the rest is history for the rumored couple.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Jolie has the hots for Mescal. And there’s also no proof that the A-listers have been hanging out.

Last year, it is true that Jolie was linked to The Weeknd after they were photographed hanging out at a restaurant. However, the two are nothing more than friends as well.

If Jolie and The Weeknd dated, the fans would’ve seen them together on more occasions other than that one time they dined at a restaurant.

It is therefore safe to say that the tabloids are just speculating on Jolie’s relationship status because she has been single since 2016. But if Jolie is dating anyone, she will most likely share the news with the rest of the world.

For now, the mom of six is still enjoying her singlehood.
