Angelina Jolie has allegedly found a new love interest in Irish actor Paul Mescal.

A photo of the A-listers hanging out while enjoying a cup of coffee made headlines recently.

The snap did not provide any proof that Jolie and Mescal could be an item. But Woman’s Day insisted that there was something more going on between the two.

A source claimed that Jolie became smitten with Mescal after she saw his performance on stage.

“Angelina was mesmerized by Paul’s stage performance and wanted to tell him,” the source said.

The source said that Jolie’s team immediately contacted Mescal’s team to set a coffee appointment.

“She had her people talk to his people to organize a quick coffee. Paul was stunned but obviously very flattered. Now, she’s telling friends she felt a connection that’s worth exploring,” the source said.

This isn’t the first time that Jolie was linked to a man simply because she’s still single seven years after she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.

Last year, multiple tabloids linked the Maleficent star to singer The Weeknd. The two were photographed at an event together and several insiders immediately assumed that there was something romantic going on between them.

But when they failed to prove that there was even a connection between the two, the tabloids claimed that Jolie and The Weeknd agreed to just stay friends because sparks didn’t fly for the A-listers.

“There were definitely sparks between her and him, but nothing has come of it. They were talking about working together on a few projects she’s developing. There was chemistry, but now the projects and their potential relationship have fizzled,” the source told National Enquirer.

Jolie was also linked to her ex-husband, Jonny Lee Miller after the mom of six was photographed entering his apartment building months ago. However, Jolie and Miller were never photographed hanging out together.

But until today, Jolie is still single. And the actress herself admitted that she’s not in a rush to find a man or settle down again. After all, her children are her priority.

For now, Jolie is busy with her directing and acting careers. And she’s also busy tending to her kids on top of finalizing her custody battle with Pitt, as well as their other lawsuits over their joint properties.
