Ben Affleck allegedly felt uneasy after hearing how Jennifer Lopez shared private details about their relationship during an interview.

In its Dec. 12 issue, Closer UK claimed that if Affleck only had his way, he wouldn’t have allowed Lopez to talk about their relationship in public.

“Ben isn’t going to censor what J-Lo’s allowed to say when she wants to give interviews, but it does make him feel a little uncomfortable that she’s gone into such graphic detail about their highs and lows. Going over old ground and recounting deeply personal experiences they had in the past isn’t his style at all,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Affleck thinks the whole interview about their relationship was awkward.

“He gets that she finds it cathartic to share details of their love story and how they got their happily ever after fairytale, but it’s still awkward and over the top as far as he’s concerned. He knew what he was signing up for in that J-Lo wants to shout about their love from the rooftops, but talking about how she felt she was going to die when they broke up the first time? That’s on another level entirely,” the source said.

Other than the interview, Affleck is also allegedly struggling to deal with Lopez’s neediness and insistence on getting some form of reassurance from her husband. Since she’s been in several failed relationships in the past, the mom of two allegedly needs to be reassured at all times.

“J-Lo makes no secret of her neediness, she’s totally dependent on Ben and doesn’t cope well if he’s away from her for any length of time whatsoever. This has always been her way in past relationships, but there’s a sense that with Ben she’s still got that insecurity that lingers from when he jilted her in the past,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Affleck thought Lopez’s interview was awkward. If anything, the dad of three has been nothing but supportive of his wife.

In fact, Affleck also made an appearance in one of Lopez’s recent interviews after they tied the knot. This proves that he doesn’t take the things that Lopez said against her contrary to what the tabloid claimed.
