Miley Cyrus and Tish Cyrus are no longer on speaking terms with Billy Ray Cyrus months after he announced his divorce from his wife of 30 years.

In its Sept. 19 issue, New Idea claimed that even though Tish and Billy Ray’s decision to go their separate ways was mutual, it was evident that the latter was the one who made more mistakes during the span of their marriage.

A source claimed that even though Miley didn’t want to take sides following her parent's divorce, she couldn’t help but do so because her dad has done a number of questionable things.

“Miley didn’t agree with some things that her father has done and the situation has really escalated. They are not on good terms. There were words exchanged over what happened towards the end of Billy and Tish’s marriage and since then, but they clearly see things differently,” the source said.

The source claimed that Miley and her dad’s issues escalated into a fight and both parties are not interested to mend fences right now.

There are also whispers that Tish and Billy Ray’s split was almost inevitable after the exes filed for divorce three times throughout the span of their marriage.

But this time around, there’s allegedly no turning back for Miley’s parents because they are sick and tired of each other.

While it is true that Tish and Billy Ray are in the process of ending their years-long marriage, it’s not true that Miley is forced to take sides.

There’s also an indication that Miley thinks her dad made more mistakes than her mom because, at the end of the day, both parties are responsible for their marriage breaking down.

Meanwhile, Miley also made headlines recently amid rumors that she went into hiding after her parents split because their breakup caused her to spiral out of control.

“She’d been hanging out with the wrong crowd at the end of last year, and her parents’ recent split sent her spiraling even more. Being trapped in the middle of their fights has never been easy. Miley has been in a really dark place and there are rumors that she sought treatment for her issues over the summer,” the source said.

However, there’s also no indication that Cyrus has not been doing well since her parents announced their split.
