The end of Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian’s relationship allegedly gave the comedian an entirely different perspective.

According to Us Weekly, Davidson vowed not to date again until his mental health improves.

“Pete knows his personal life can overshadow his professional life. He’s decided to take a step back from pursuing famous women so he can focus on his career. It’s just starting to take off in the way that he dreamed for himself. Now’s the time for Pete to keep his eye on the prize,” the source said.

The source added that Davidson wants to return to doing standup comedy. After all, he was forced to set this aside because of his blossoming acting career and past relationship with Kardashian.

Now that he and Kardashian are no longer together, Davidson could return to what he loves the most and that’s making his fans laugh.

“He couldn’t really just pop into a club and try out new material when he was with Kim, so now he really wants to reestablish himself. Pete’s that rare SNL breakout who’s treated more like a rockstar than a sketch comedy actor,” the source said.

Even though he’s sworn off women completely, the source claimed that Davidson has a lot of female fans who have been throwing themselves at him and treating him like he’s one of The Beatles.

Friends of Davidson are also hoping that he would stay true to his word that he won’t get into a relationship until he’s OK. After all, his relationship and the end of his dating life with Kardashian tore him apart.

“Pete knew what he was getting into with Kim. It was fun and they fell for each other hard and fast, but the scrutiny got to him. He couldn’t go anywhere without being photographed. Then with all the Kanye drama, it all got to be too much,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that Davidson swore off dating after the end of his relationship with Kardashian.

And it’s not also true that Davidson plans to focus on his mental health because of the trauma that he had to go through while with the reality TV star.

Davidson has not opened up about his plans so no one knows for sure what he wants to do.
