Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s split may have shocked their fans, but not their family and friends. After all, everyone knew from the get-go that their relationship wasn’t for keeps.

In its Aug. 29 issue, Life & Style claimed that Kardashian and Davidson’s closest allies urged them to enjoy their relationship while it still lasted. After all, they knew that their time as a couple was limited because they were very different from one another. 

A source claimed that Kardashian and Davidson also had a hard time adjusting to each other’s lives. But the latter was the one who struggled the most. 

“Pete didn’t adjust as easily to Kim’s lifestyle. Being in the spotlight is second nature for Kim, but it was hard for him. Pete was getting tired of the attention. She lives for it, though,” the source said.

The insider claimed that Kardashian had a hard time accepting the fact that her relationship with Davidson was already over. After all, it was such an easy ride for her because all of her needs were met. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the Saturday Night Live alum. 

“She begged him to stay with her a little longer. Publicity is her livelihood, and Pete was starting to question Kim’s motives,” the source said. 

According to the insider, even before Kardashian and Davidson called it quits, there were already rumors that the latter had been texting other women. But when the reality TV star confronted him, he denied it. 

“Her friends always thought Pete wasn’t a good fit, so they aren’t surprised it’s over. Pete says he’ll always have love for Kim, and vice versa. It just wasn’t meant to be, but it was fun while it lasted,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Kardashian and Davidson’s split is not as complicated as what the tabloid is claiming.

The exes decided to end their romance simply because of the distance. There was no issue when it came to their differences or Davidson’s alleged infidelity. 

If Davidson cheated on Kardashian, then multiple publications would’ve already reported on it.

As such, the only accurate information released by the tabloid has to do with the fact that Davidson and Kardashian ended their relationship amicably. And they are now friends.
