Pete Davidson allegedly tried to break up with Kim Kardashian several times but the reality TV star refused. Due to his persistence, Kardashian eventually agreed that it’s for the best if they just end their nine-month relationship altogether.

In its Aug. 22 issue, Us Weekly claimed that Davidson was no longer happy with Kardashian. And the distance between them just made everything worse. After all, Davidson is in Australia filming for an upcoming project and Kardashian was back home in Los Angeles.

“Pete was in a dark place with all the public attention that their romance generated. He felt he was losing himself,” the source said.

But the insider also claimed that there’s a possibility for Kardashian and Davidson to get back together one day. After all, they still have so much love for each other and it just so happened that the time isn’t right for them now.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. More credible publications also revealed that the breakup was a mutual decision between Kardashian and Davidson.

So, it’s not true that the Saturday Night Live star was the one who tried to end things with Kardashian several times until she finally gave in.

Prior to their split, there were rumors claiming that Kardashian and Davidson were already headed for the altar.

One tabloid claimed that Davidson was already planning how he would pop the question because he’s madly in love with Kardashian and wants to be with her for the rest of their lives.

Other sources also claimed that Davidson and Kardashian were already talking about having their own baby via a surrogate. Since the latter could no longer get pregnant, she and Davidson allegedly started looking for people that can help make their baby-making dreams come true.

However, none of these things happened for Kardashian and Davidson because they already called it quits. What’s worse is that the claims made by the tabloids are not accurate in the first place.

There’s no indication that Kardashian and Davidson even talked about tying the knot or having a baby together. After all, they were only together for less than a year so it might have been too early for them to talk about settling down.
