Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson allegedly tried to make their relationship work until the end but gave up eventually because of the distance.

In its Aug. 15 issue, Us Weekly claimed that Kardashian and Davidson went to great lengths to save their relationship amid the distance. The Saturday Night Live alum is in Australia filming Wizards! Kardashian, on the other hand, is in Los Angeles with her children.

“The time zones and filming call times made it difficult. They tried to send each other love notes and FaceTime whenever their schedules link up. She talked about going down to Australia to surprise Pete and they also have a trip planned for after Pete wraps,” the source said.

Other than the distance, Kardashian and Davidson allegedly had other minor issues that they tried to deal with and resolve.

“They were having some minor issues which was supposed to be good for them,” the source said.

In the end, Kardashian and Davidson agreed to end their relationship after just nine months. And now, sources are saying that even though the split was amicable, both parties are struggling to live without each other.

A source told People that Kardashian and Davidson also decided that they are better off as friends. As such, they have no intention of ever getting back together.

“They’ve definitely been slowing down. Things heated up quickly in the beginning when he could travel back and forth to see Kim and spend time with her, but his schedule has gotten so packed. Pete is still super bummed, though, about the breakup. They really hit it off and had a ton of fun together, but it feels like it ran its course,” the source said.

For now, there are also reports claiming that Davidson is in therapy after suffering from trauma because of what Kanye West did to him on social media.

According to Page Six, Kardashian supports Davidson’s decision to go to therapy. And this is another proof that the exes are good friends who care about each other.

As of late, it’s unclear to what extent Kardashian and Davidson tried to save their relationship. What is known is that they were once smitten with each other.

In fact, there were even rumors claiming that they will soon be headed to the altar but this never happened.
