Tom Cruise and John Travolta are being dubbed lonely guys because they have been single for quite some time.

An unnamed source told National Enquirer that Cruise and Travolta have also been struggling to find love due to entirely different reasons. But the bottom line remains the same and that is the A-listers are both ready to date again.

“Tom’s had some rotten luck in his personal life but he figures that with John as his wingman they’d both benefit and have each other’s friendship as a fallback if it doesn’t work out. They’ve each had time to heal in their own way and it’s nice that they have each other to lean on. Now, they’re lining up double dates and having all prospective ladies carefully vetted beforehand,” the source said.

The source also claimed that the Mission: Impossible actor is very picky when it comes to dating women. Luckily, Travolta is there to support him and remind him that he should be more open.

Cruise and Travolta’s respective children are also helping the Hollywood actors with finding love. And they have all been very supportive because they want nothing more than to see their dads happy.

“Of course, everyone around them is jumping up for joy that Tom and John are in this together, given their past feud. Tom reached out to John to offer his condolences when Kelly passed away and John was beyond touched. Now, you can’t keep these two apart,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that Cruise and Travolta have been trying to find love and have done it together.

It seems that the tabloid has an obsession with Cruise’s dating life because they have linked him to multiple women throughout the past couple of years.

Following his split from Katie Holmes, Cruise never got into a relationship again. But the tabloids kept on insisting that he dated his Mission: Impossible co-star, Hayley Atwell.

But when this didn’t pan out, Cruise was linked to Top Gun: Maverick singer, Lady Gaga. And then he was also linked to Holmes and his other ex-wife, Nicole Kidman.

However, none of these are true. Cruise is single by choice and he seems to be enjoying his alone time. And the same goes for Travolta.
