Tom Cruise is, allegedly, smitten with his Mission: Impossible co-star, Hayley Atwell.

According to Woman’s Day, Cruise has a huge crush on the stunning actress. And working with Atwell has been very easy because she’s a breath of fresh air.

A source told the tabloid that Cruise also enjoyed filming their scenes together, especially the ones where they had physical contact. The insider also said that Cruise couldn’t help but smile every time he sees Atwell.

And the fact that Atwell is young and stunning has also made Cruise feel much younger than he really is.

But the insider also said that Cruise is in no rush to settle down. After all, he’s been married several times. The actor is just, allegedly, thrilled to have Atwell around.

Gossip Cop immediately debunked the tabloid’s claims by describing the dubious article as sexist. The publication also noted how Woman’s Day reduced the actress to an object because Atwell is, allegedly, an eye candy for Cruise.

The tabloid doesn’t also have any evidence that Cruise has a crush on Atwell other than their statement that the actor is always smiling when she’s around. But the rumor-debunking site said that Cruise seemingly smiles at everything.

And since he and Atwell are working together, it’s not unlikely for Cruise to smile at the actress when they’re chatting or filming. However, this doesn’t mean that he has a crush on his co-star or that he has fallen in love with her.

Gossip Cop also said that it is possible that Atwell is not even single. Even though Captain America: The First Avenger star is very private about her life, she sat down for an interview in 2017 with The Times.

Atwell said that she plans to spend the rest of her life with her childhood friend. Before dating her childhood friend, who also happens to be a doctor, Atwell dated The Office creator Stephen Merchant and Snow Patrol rocker Paul Wilson.

The actress and her non-showbiz boyfriend have known each other since they were 10 years old. And during the interview, Atwell said that she’s finally found someone with who she wants to spend the rest of her life with.
