Kate Middleton allegedly had a ton of surprises for her husband, Prince William on his 40th birthday.

Prince William turned 40 on June 21 and Us Weekly claimed to know all the details of how the Cambridges celebrated the important milestone.

A source told the tabloid that Middleton surprised her husband with a trip to the Isles of Scilly. And their children also gifted their dad with beautiful handmade cards.

The source claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge had everything planned and sorted out for her husband because she wanted to make sure that Prince William’s mind would be taken off his ongoing feud with Prince Harry.

“The celebration was bittersweet for William because of how strained things are between him and Harry. Their relationship has gotten to the point where it’s beyond toxic. They’re at a total standoff and as far as William is concerned, there’s just no going back. William does not trust Harry because of his antics with the media,” the source said.

According to the source, the second in line to the throne is also reeling over Prince Harry’s memoir, which is due for release before the year ends.

“From William’s perspective, Harry has really crossed the line. The memoir feels like yet another dark cloud handing over the monarchy as they wait with bated breath to see what bombshells Harry will drop next. William thinks his brother is out of his mind and for writing a book on the royal family. He doesn’t know who Harry is anymore,” the source said.

But the source said that Prince Harry couldn’t care less about how Prince William thinks and feels about him. In fact, he remains unapologetic. After all, the Duke of Sussex is allegedly hardheaded and this is one of the reasons why he refused to even greet Prince William on his birthday.

“Harry believes his family’s lives have been put at risk and William doesn’t care. He will not be the first one to bend and say he’s sorry,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s obvious that the tabloid is just pitting the brothers against each other even though they haven’t necessarily feuded in recent months.

It’s unclear if Prince Harry greeted Prince William on his birthday. But it seems that he would because even though their relationship hasn’t been repaired, they have not fallen out completely.
