Prince Harry shocked royal fans when he attended the Super Bowl two weeks ago.

But this isn’t all. After the LA Rams won against the Cincinnati Bengals, eagle-eyed royal fans saw Prince Harry parading with the Vince Lombardi trophy in his hand.

He was also spotted shaking hands with guests and some NFL players.

At the time, there was no indication that Prince Harry is an NFL fan.

And it’s even more surprising for him to seemingly represent the Los Angeles players when he’s not really from the United States.

But in its Feb. 28 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that there’s a reason why Prince Harry attended the Super Bowl and made it seem as though he had the best time at the game.

“It was an odd move since he’s never really cared about NFL before and a lot o those winning players wouldn’t have even known who he was. But Harry was really cut up about losing his England Rugby patronages to the Duchess of Cambridge last month, so this is likely his way of one-upping her – sort of. Anything you can do, I can do better type of thing,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

There’s no indication that Prince Harry attended the Super Bowl to get back at Prince William and Middleton.

After all, it wasn’t Middleton’s decision to take over Prince Harry’s patronage. Instead, it was Queen Elizabeth that made this happen because of the changes that the British monarchy is undergoing.

By the looks of it, this is just the tabloid’s way of pitting Prince Harry against the Cambridges. After all, there were previous claims suggesting that Prince William and Prince Harry still haven’t patched things up.

However, the brothers’ feud doesn’t have anything to do with Middleton. So, it’s unlikely for Prince Harry to want to get back at his sister-in-law.

It is also important to note that Prince Harry and Middleton are very close.

In fact, even after Prince Harry and Prince William had a falling out, the former still stayed close to the Duchess of Cambridge.

And when he returned to the United Kingdom for Prince Philip’s funeral, royal fans saw that it was Middleton that spent more time with Prince Harry to ensure that he wouldn’t feel left out.
