Britney Spears is allegedly broke so she’s thinking of ways on how she could make money.

A source told In Touch Weekly that Spears is contemplating doing another Las Vegas residency since it’s been five years since she last performed in Sin City.

And during that time, Spears and her now-husband, Sam Asghari allegedly stayed in a $15,000 per night hotel because they still had so much money.

“She’s considering doing it. It’s been five years since her last residency and she realizes she needs to start generating income again. Britney’s worried about going broke,” the source said.

The source that Spears does technically have the money. But she cannot cash them in because they are tied to her investments.

“Britney knows her worth now and this time she’s keeping every penny. She doesn’t want to have to live on a budget. She doesn’t ever want to worry about money again,” the source said.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that Spears was rumored to be going broke.

Last week, Globe magazine claimed that the “Toxic” singer is struggling financially. After all, the tabloid heard Asghari’s recent interview where he said that he wanted to cut down on his wife’s spending.

The fitness instructor also said that if it were up to him, he wants to be able to cut down on their travel expenses. But he also knows that he’s dating a very expensive woman.

Star magazine also claimed that very little money is coming into Spears’ bank account. So, it’s only a matter of time before the singer claims bankruptcy.

“Britney has very little money coming in and a lot is going out. She has legal fees, monthly payments to Kevin, a well-paid domestic staff, plus all those vacations,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Spears is not broke and she’s not also going broke. The singer seems to be doing well financially and it’s also highly likely that she’s already set for life.

After all, Spears has been working since she was young. And even though her money was tied to her conservatorship for years, she has now gained access to her case.

And it seems she could get more cash once her dad, Jamie Spears cooperates with an ongoing investigation.
