Britney Spears and her new husband, Sam Asghari are allegedly broke.

After the singer’s conservatorship was lifted months ago, Spears had more freedom to handle her millions. Since the “Toxic” singer hasn’t had the chance to use her money for approximately 13 years, she has allegedly gone overboard with her spending.

Globe's source alleged that Spears still has a lavish lifestyle, but it’s only a matter of time before she and Asghari end up broke. In fact, the latter is already feeling the effects of his wife’s spending because he just gets $16 a day for his needs.

But it seems that the tabloid is just exaggerating the revelations made by Asghari during an interview. He said that he and Spears have separate bank accounts. Asghari also said that he’s so good with money to the point that he can survive with only $16 daily.

If it was up to me, we would cut down on the traveling and stay at a much cheaper hotel and we would probably live off of $60 a day. We do travel a lot, and I am dating a girl that’s very expensive,” he said.

Meanwhile, Star also claimed that Spears already lost as much as $30 million ever since her conservatorship was lifted. And she is slowly realizing how much she has already lost.

“Britney has very little money coming in and a lot is going out. She has legal fees, monthly payments to Kevin, a well-paid domestic staff, plus all those vacations,” the source said.

The insider added that Spears’ attorneys also want her estranged dad, Jamie to help them locate all the singer’s money that has been missing. But until this happens, the singer and her husband could allegedly end up broke.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

There’s no proof that Spears and Asghari are strapped for cash. After all, Spears earned millions throughout the span of her career.

And even though someone else handled her money for 13 years, the cash still rightfully belongs to her. Now that she freedom to do whatever she wants, she also deserves to enjoy her hard-earned money and spoil herself.

As for Asghari, he wants his and Spears’ finances to be separate so that no one would accuse him of using the singer.
