Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder are allegedly always on the phone.

In its May 9 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Reeves always calls Ryder to check up on her.

A source said that Reeves and Ryder have always been close. In fact, their director previously predicted that they would end up with each other.

“It’s not uncommon for them to talk every day when they think they might have found the perfect movie. There’s also some discussion on whether they should do a Dracula reunion for its 30th anniversary. This time, they don’t want to do anything involving a movie,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Reeves and Ryder always stayed in touch with each other. And the former never left the latter’s side when she didn’t have projects lined up.

In fact, it was allegedly Reeves that convinced Ryder to not quit acting even when things got hard.

“He convinced her to go back to acting when she believed she never could. So perhaps we have him to thank for the Stranger Things franchise,” the source said.

And Ryder has also been supportive of Reeves’ decisions. In fact, the actress was allegedly the one that convinced that actor to get serious with his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant.

“Winona could see she was perfect for him, but she knew Keanu was always reluctant to get too close to anyone,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

Even though Reeves and Ryder may be close to each other, there’s no indication that they are always on the phone.

As actors, the A-listers have very busy schedules so it’s unlikely for them to have so much time to stay on the phone with each other.

And it’s not also true that Reeves’ girlfriend is upset with his and Ryder’s closeness. The tabloid was clear with its assumption that Ryder was the one that encouraged Reeves to get into a serious relationship with Grant.

Speaking of the couple, there are also rumors claiming that Grant and Reeves will soon tie the knot. Multiple tabloids have been saying that Reeves already proposed to Grant or that he’s planning a low-key proposal for his longtime girlfriend.

However, this couldn’t be true because Reeves previously confirmed that he has no plans to ever get married.
