Keanu Reeves is allegedly gearing to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Alexandra Grant.

In its April 25 issue, OK! magazine claimed that Reeves has been second-guessing whether he still wants to tie the knot especially since he’s already in his 50s. However, his good friend, Sandra Bullock encouraged him to pop the question.

“Keanu popped the question after they returned home from Europe, where he was filming back-to-back movies, and she was there the whole time to support him. That’s when he realized he can’t live without her,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Reeves and Bullock had a heart-to-heart talk and the conversation ended with the actor having so many realizations.

“It was a heart-to-heart with Sandra that finally inspired him to put a ring on it, and he’s so happy that he did. The couple already started planning their dream nuptials, which will be very laidback and take place outdoors before a small group of family and friends. Of course, they’re writing their own vows and no doubt it will get very emotional,” the source said.

The source also pointed out that the past couple of years hasn’t always been easy for Reeves. In fact, the actor has been through hell and back.

“But now he finally has this wonderful woman to share his life with. Alexandra is a huge light in his life. Everyone can see how she fills him with joy,” the source said.

This isn’t the first time that Reeves was rumored to be proposing or tying the knot with Grant. This type of rumor has been circulating among the different tabloids for years.

In September, OK! magazine also claimed that Reeves and Grant already tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Malibu.

“He and Alexandra love the artsy culture and laidback lifestyle so much that they’re looking to buy a place there. They have been looking to buy a home and now that Keanu will be busy with the John Wick shoots for a while, Berlin only makes sense,” the source said.

But in December, National Enquirer alleged that the couple split after Grant found out that Reeves was married to Winona Ryder before.

However, none of these rumors are true. Reeves and Grant are not yet engaged and it seems they never would get engaged. After all, Reeves said that he doesn’t have plans to tie the knot.
