Kate Middleton is allegedly secretly upset with Queen Elizabeth after she announced that Camilla Parker Bowles will be styled as queen consort.

In its March 21 issue, Life & Style claimed that Middleton thought she would become the next queen consort because Camilla was supposed to be styled as a princess consort.

But because of Camilla’s years in service, as well as her support for Prince Charles, the queen had a change of heart. So, during her Platinum Jubilee speech, she said that it is her wish for Camilla to be styled as queen consort.

On Feb. 10, the Duchess of Cornwall said that she was very touched by what the queen said. However, not everyone is thrilled about her.

“So, William and Kate were completely blindsided by the queen’s announcement in favor of Charles and Camilla. The palace has been in chaos ever since. Kate is refusing to give up her battle to be queen first. While Charles and William certainly have the most to gain or lose, their wives have reportedly taken an active role in the behind-the-scenes power struggle. Kate won’t sit back and let this go. She’s ready to fight to steal the crown out of Camilla’s hands,” the source said.

The insider added that Prince William also plans to get down and dirty just to make sure that Camilla won’t be styled as queen consort.

“William has a contact who’s willing to leak shady details that further connect his dad to the cash-for-honors scandal. If found guilty of accepting bribes, Charles would be destroyed and his mother would likely have to force him to step down as the next king,” the source said.

But the source insisted that Camilla found out what Prince William had been trying to do, and she became enraged.

“She went ballistic. She refuses to let Kate and William move in on their turf. She’s apparently been trying to sabotage Kate’s marriage. Camilla knows the truth about claims William cheated with country neighbor Rose Hanbury when Kate was pregnant with their third child,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

There’s no indication that Prince William cheated on Middleton or that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are upset with the queen’s decision to change Camilla’s future royal title to queen consort.
