Prince Charles is allegedly open to helping Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fund their dream $100 million castles but there’s one important condition.
In its Jan. 24 issue, New Idea claimed that Prince Charles will only help the Duke and Duchess of Sussex if they’ll agree to return to the United Kingdom permanently.
But this setup won’t make sense for Prince Harry and Markle because it would be pointless for them to have an entire castle built in Los Angeles when they won’t be able to live in it because they’re in the United Kingdom.
Still, the tabloid insisted that this is the case for Prince Harry and Markle.
“This house won’t come cheap. The way Meghan’s talking, a new build on a prime plot could cost her upwards of $100 million. They might be earning well in the States, but that’s way out of their price range. For her to make this dream come true, they’re going to need Charles’ help,” the source said.
Prince Charles has always been generous when it comes to giving Prince Harry and Markle financial support. In fact, he continued to support the Duke and Duchess of Sussex even after they quit The Firm.
Prince Harry and Markle also claimed that the heir to the throne cut them off financially following their Megxit, but this was later revealed to be false.
But this time around, the future king will no longer be tricked into helping Prince Harry and Markle.
“Prince Charles is telling friends that the only way he would help them financially is if it was to ensure they make a move back to the UK,” the source said.
The same publication also alleged that Prince Harry was initially taken aback by his wife’s plans to have a castle built in Los Angeles. After all, he feels that they already have everything that they need at home.
The Duke of Sussex couldn’t allegedly believe why Markle feels so unsatisfied with everything that’s been going on in her life.
But at the end of the day, Markle couldn’t care less about her husband’s feelings. So, at the end of the day, she still pushed through with her plans starting off with looking for properties that they can purchase as soon as possible.
However, one should still take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no indication that Markle has plans to build a castle in the United States.
