43-year-old Tamar Braxton’s boyfriend, David Adefeso, 50, was devastated when he was at a loss after multiple attempts in waking and shaking his girlfriend up after discovering Tamar is unresponsive in their respective Ritz Carlton residence in Downtown Los Angeles. The incident happened on July 16, where David contacted 911 and asked for help.
“My girlfriend is not responding,” David told the dispatcher. The agent advised David to repeatedly shake Tamar so the singer would come to her senses, but, as per David, Tamar won’t.
The tabloid news website, TMZ, was able to collate the 911 call recording, which they confidently released on July 20.
The call went on with David sharing the focal point of why the singer attempted to take her own life. Per Hollywood Life, quoting David’s statement, Tamar has been drinking liquors while on her medication for depression. Also, the All the Way Home singer left a letter for David as she tries to bid her goodbyes. However, David is not sure how Tamar tried to commit suicide, which led him to call 911.
One of the most revealing parts of the call is when David told the operator that Tamar was “very angry” with the television network she’s been working with as “they” did something very upsetting to the singer’s part. After the confession, David was then heard crying over what happened while cursing the network.
The network, however, was not disclosed by David. Still, the tabloids started to speculate that the tv network David referred to is WEtv, where Tamar just released her forthcoming docu-series titled Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life! The said series is set to air on July 30.
Previously, Tamar took on Twitter over her massive disappointment over paycheck equality of their family drama series Braxton Family Values is getting. The singer pointed out E! network’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians on how they said series has no villains and earns more than they do. The distress started when Tamar responded to a fan’s tweet that brought up the subject.
In a previous report, Tamar was confirmed that she was rushed to California Hospital Medical Center in Downtown Los Angeles by EMTs on July 16. She is now in a very stable condition, but further details are not yet known.
When the news sparked, Tamar’s dearest celebrity friends demanded the singer’s fans and everyone to pray for her healing: such as The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Nana Leakes, and all-time diva Mariah Carey.
