Braxton Family Values star Tamar Braxton was hospitalized on Thursday after the cops found the singer "unresponsive."

Tamar Braxton, 43, who was known from the reality TV drama series Braxton Family Values was rushed to the nearest Downtown Los Angeles hospital on the night of July 17 (Thursday).

According to Hollywood Life, the songstress resided at the high-rise level of the Ritz Carlton Residences in Downtown Los Angeles with her 50-year-old boyfriend, David Adefeso. Around 9:45 P.M., the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a phone call about "an individual" who was "being transported" from the building of Ritz Carlton. For some privacy reasons, the LAPD refused to name the "individual."

Shortly after news surfaced, a credible source confirmed Eyewitness News that the "individual" is Tamar, ABC 7 reported.

"Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day," a spokesperson from Tamar said. "more information will be coming in the next few days. Please pray for her," the spokesperson added.

The Love & War singer was rushed at the California Hospital Medical Center and listed in a stable condition. The LAPD reported that Tamar was already unconscious when the cops and EMTs arrived in the location. The report also finds Tamar attempted to take her own life through overdose.

Fans and friends of the singer expressed their hope and healing wishes to the singer by posting heartfelt messages in Tamar's different social media accounts. One such is Bad Girl Club alum, Tanisha Thomas. Shortly after the confirmation of Tamar's hospitalization, WE tv expressed their thoughts and prayers for the actress and her family on their Twitter account.

Just recently, Tamar made the headlines after she vented out to E!'s Keeping Up With The Kardashians show about not receiving equal pay from their Braxton Family Values drama series. Tamar was previously wed with Vince Herbert that gave her one son, Logan. At the moment, Tamar is in a relationship with David Adefeso, who was introduced by Tamar in April 2019.
