Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein’s other friends and business partners were allegedly videotaped while they were hanging out at his mansion.
According to British socialite Christina Oxenberg, she and Ghislaine Maxwell had a conversation. And the latter said that she and Epstein had everyone on videotape.
If the videotape is released, Maxwell could get a lower sentence depending on the deal she will make with prosecutors. But this could also put Prince Andrew in a negative light.
The Duke of York previously denied sexually assaulting Virginia Roberts Giuffre. He also said that he was unaware of Epstein’s misconduct even though they were close friends for years.
According to Globe, there are fears that Maxwell could be killed in prison. Epstein committed suicide while he was in jail in New York in August 2019.
TV host Christopher Mason said that he thinks Maxwell knows everything. And this could put her life in grave danger.
“I’m sure she has access to the videos. A lot more powerful people will be more than a little worried,” he said.
Meanwhile, a source claimed that US prosecutor Audrey Strauss might consider a plea deal for Maxwell. However, it will all depend on which of Epstein’s friends she would give up.
“We know she was involved with people at the highest levels of government, industry, and society. If she has proof which will lead to the conviction of bigger fish then she will be able to plea-bargain her way down,” the source said.
Epstein’s former business associate Steven Hoffenberg thinks that it wouldn’t take Maxwell very long before she cracks under pressure.
“She won’t be able to handle jail, she’ll immediately start talking to try to get out of it,” he said.
Maxwell was arrested earlier this month after she went into hiding after Epstein committed suicide. Her arrest is allegedly concerning for Prince Andrew because Maxwell knows everything.
As of late, the Duke of York hasn’t been charged with anything. And his lawyer said that Prince Andrew offered to stand as a witness against Epstein. However, it is unclear if his offer was accepted by the US Department of Justice (DOJ).
According to Woman's Day, Prince Andrew could allegedly be sent to prison if he is proven guilty of sexually abusing Giuffre and other underage girls years ago.
