Prince Andrew Could Allegedly Go To Jail If Ghislaine Maxwell Cuts A Deal With Prosecutors
Prince Andrew could, allegedly, find himself in jail if Ghislaine Maxwell agrees to cut a deal with her prosecutors.
According to Woman’s Day, it is possible for Maxwell to sell out the names of the people in Jeffrey Epstein’s black book in exchange for a lighter sentence.
“Jeffrey, and perhaps even more so, Ghislaine, were extremely skilled at making powerful friends, but they also took care to document everything in preparation for a situation like this,” a source said.
Maxwell has allegedly been linked to a lot of high-profile personalities like Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Woody Allen, and Naomi Campbell. And there could also be a number of people who are concerned about Maxwell could possibly say.
“But the big question is just how much she knows about Prince Andrew, his ties with Jeffrey and just what they got up to on the numerous times they were together in both Jeffrey’s homes around the world and when Andrew hosted him at the royal residences,” the source said.
As of late, Prince Andrew still hasn’t been arrested. And he hasn’t also been formally charged with anything. In fact, the FBI has yet to invite him for an interview. However, Maxwell’s arrest is reportedly very bad news for the Duke of York.
“Her testimony and evidence could change everything. Andrew, however, is still harboring under the delusion that he’s untouchable. He and Ghislaine go a long way back – in fact, the suspicion is they were at one time or another romantically involved – so he’s convinced she will never turn on him. However, I think she knows she would not survive a prison sentence, so the general belief is that no one is safe if it’s a question of saving herself,” the source concluded.
Maxwell was arrested earlier this month after she went into hiding after Epstein’s suicide in August of last year.
On Tuesday, Maxwell pleaded not guilty to charges that she helped procure young victims from Epstein’s child sex trafficking operation that started over 25 years ago.
U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan said that Maxwell posed a substantial risk of flight because of her wealth and connections. As such, she’s being held without bond.
Nathan also said that Maxwell’s hearing will commence on July 12, 2021. This means that she will stay in a New York federal detention center for a year before she heads to court.
