Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are allegedly planning to milk their stories for as long as they possibly can.
In its Jan. 20 issue, Heat UK claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to stop despite everything that they’ve already said about the royal family. In fact, the couple has just started.
“They’re being inundated with requests for interviews. Meghan has her memoir deal in the pipeline, and they are being offered big money for after-dinner speeches and personal appearances, on-screen cameos and so much more. The reality is they can milk this for as long as they like – and for a huge amount of money and attention in the process,” the source said.
The source also claimed that Prince Harry and Markle want to get on the royal family’s good graces. But they will only agree to have a relationship with them if they issue an apology publicly.
Unfortunately for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the royal family doesn’t seem to be on the same page. In fact, no one has reached out to the couple following their interviews, documentary, and book deal.
“It really sticks in Meghan and Harry’s throats that the family isn’t responding to them. For many months now, Harry has attempted to organize a sit-down meeting with his father and brother. He desperately wants to clear the air, but that’s not on the agenda at the moment,” the source said.
According to the source, with the rate things are going right now, it seems unlikely for the royal family to ever reconcile with Prince Harry and Markle.
For now, this claim might seem accurate because the Sussexes have not had the chance to talk to King Charles and Prince William.
Prince Harry told Anderson Cooper during this week’s interview that he hasn’t spoken to his father and brother in quite a while. But he also insisted that he and Markle are always open for a private conversation.
By the looks of it, it’s only a matter of time before Prince Harry and Markle get their wish. However, it seems that the only way the royal family will talk to them is if they finally agree to stop sharing stories about the British clan in their interviews and deals.
