Meghan Markle allegedly has a twisted obsession with Kate Middleton no matter how hard she tries to deny it.

Globe, in its Dec. 26 issue, claimed that Markle keeps criticizing Middleton in her interviews because she’s obsessed with the latter. And there’s also no denying the fact that she’s jealous of Prince William’s wife.

“Meghan has a twisted obsession with her sister-in-law. Frankly, Meghan is jealous and it’s eating her alive. She can’t stand being in Kate’s shadow and trash-talks the future queen at every opportunity. It was no surprise the simmering catfight exploded when the Sussexes released a trailer for the docudrama the day William and Kate arrived in the US on an official visit,” the source said.

What’s worse is that Prince Harry and Markle allegedly scheduled the presentation of an important award for their heroic stance against royal racism days later.

“It all seemed a blatant bid to upstage the Prince and Princess of Wales and the palace was outraged. But the truth is, the women hate each other’s guts. After years of personal insults, public snubs, and private screaming matches that tore the royal family apart, they can’t even be in the same room,” the source said.

But at the end of the day, there’s no denying the fact that the damage has already been done. And the royal family can’t do anything but cut ties with Prince Harry and Markle.

According to the source, forgiveness is unlikely among all parties.

While it is true that there are still tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family, there’s no indication that Markle and Middleton are going through something separately.

Markle and Middleton have long set aside their issues with each other. And even the Duchess of Sussex made it clear that Middleton asked forgiveness from her after she made her cry.

But for a long time, British papers alleged that Markle was the one who made Middleton cry during Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting. However, this wasn’t the case.

For now, there’s no indication that a reconciliation between the Sussexes and the royal family will take place during the holiday season. After all, Prince Harry and Markle will be celebrating Christmas in the United States.

But not all hope is lost for a reconciliation sometime next year.
