Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth are allegedly more focused on their jobs and not their marriage.
In its Dec. 5 issue, Us Weekly claimed that Witherspoon and Toth are no longer able to connect with each other. In fact, they have also been sleeping in separate bedrooms and they barely talk.
“Reese and Jim are both more focused on their careers than each other. The success of Hello Sunshine has been a bonding factor for them. Jim was seriously invested in it, even when nobody believed it would work,” the source said.
The source said that Witherspoon and Toth started spending more time apart after the actress received an offer to appear in at least one movie for the year. Toth, on the other hand, was left at home after he decided to sell his own company.
“During the pandemic, following the lapse of Quibi, Jim’s penchant for wacky clothes, jewelry, and tattoos exploded. He’s become more of a wild man, while Reese has become more conservative. Jim loves that he doesn’t really have to participate in the rat race anymore, and Reese loves the grind and making things happen,” the source said.
The source stressed that Witherspoon and Toth are not worried about their marriage falling apart even if they barely have time to focus on each other. After all, they are on the same page when it comes to prioritizing their businesses.
“It doesn’t seem to be in the cards for them just yet. Reese is happy about her production company and her Draper James line. Things are going well for her, and she’s satisfied and fulfilled,” the source said.
Since Witherspoon and Toth’s marriage isn’t falling apart, it’s unclear why the tabloid started off their dubious story by saying that the couple has been sleeping in separate bedrooms and leading separate lives.
It’s not also true that Witherspoon and Toth are only focused on their businesses and making money. The couple wouldn’t be together for over a decade if they are not connected to each other.
So, it’s obvious that the tabloid just made up its story about Witherspoon and Toth to make it seem as though they are having problems even when they are still happily married to each other.
