Ryan Reynolds has allegedly been a nuisance for his wife, Blake Lively.

In its Jan. 3 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Reynolds’ decision to focus on his family and not accepting acting jobs has taken a toll on his and Lively’s relationship. However, it’s not in the way that most people might think.

After all, Reynolds has been staying at home most of his time that’s why he refuses to take regular showers or even shave his beard.

“Ryan finds showering a nuisance. If he forgets to brush his teeth one day, he figures it’s not a big deal,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Lively hates the fact that her husband has been growing his beard.

“It’s itchy and his hair can’t smell too good if he’s not washing it. She misses the suave, clean man she fell in love with and wants him back,” the source said.

For a time, Reynolds allegedly agreed to shower and shave because of his Peloton commercial. But after it was released, the Deadpool actor just went back to his old and gross ways.

To make their story more convincing, the tabloid published a photo of Reynolds with his thick beard and compared it to another photo where the actor is clean-shaven.

However, Reynolds stepping out in public and sporting a beard doesn’t necessarily confirm that he’s refusing to shave it. It’s possible that the actor just hasn’t shaved when he went out in public.

There’s also no proof that Lively’s husband has stopped showering and brushing his teeth regularly. And being accused of such absurd claims can even be downright offensive for the actor.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the only rumor surrounding Reynolds and Lively.

Last week, there were claims that the couple has been fighting because of their work arrangements. Reynolds allegedly agreed to stop accepting job offers because Lively wants him to always be at home.

However, there’s no proof that this is the case. In fact, it seems that Reynolds was the one who made the decision to stop acting temporarily because he wants to focus on his wife and children.

By the looks of it, the tabloids are just making up stories about the couple to make it seem as though they’re struggling even when they’re not. In fact, Reynolds and Lively seem to have one of the happiest and strongest relationships in Hollywood.
