Julia Roberts and Danny Moder are allegedly facing another roadblock in their marriage.

In its Dec. 27 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Moder couldn’t help but be jealous of Roberts’ close friendship with producer, Tim Bevan.

The tabloid published a photo of Roberts and Bevan hugging each other tightly after they crossed paths in Australia. The actress and George Clooney are in Australia to film their upcoming movie.

“They are obviously very close. She looked thrilled to see him and they hugged warmly. I thought it was her husband at first, he looks somewhat similar. They were in conversation for a good few minutes and walked together for a bit before going their separate ways,” a source said.

The source also said that Roberts’ love for Australia has not been sitting well with Moder, who can’t wait to return to the United States.

“Julia is absolutely loving it in Australia. It’s just what she wanted. She says she feels so much less jaded and overwhelmed there, unlike in LA or New York. The people are so friendly and just let her go about her business mostly unbothered. If she wears a hat, sunglasses, and a mask, people don’t know who she is unless she speaks. She loves the anonymity,” the source said.

However, Moder couldn’t wait to return to Malibu because he misses surfing. But the source claimed that Roberts is confident that she can convince her husband to love Australia just as much as she loves the country.

But it’s unlikely for this to happen because Moder doesn’t even want to fly across the United States even if it means he can spend more time with his wife.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s unclear why they are pitting Roberts and Moder against each other when the couple isn’t having any problems.

It’s not also true that Moder is jealous of Bevan or that he hates Australia and doesn’t want to accompany his wife there. After all, Moder has been in Australia with Roberts ever since the actress started filming there.

Throughout the years, there have also been claims suggesting that Moder and Roberts are on the brink of a divorce due to their differences. But regardless of what these unnamed sources say, there’s no indication that the happy couple is having problems.
