Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have always been a united front even after they called it quits.

The A-listers have been successfully co-parenting their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel even though Affleck and Garner are both busy with their respective lives.

However, a source recently claimed that the exes’ amicable relationship suddenly changed after Affleck started dating Jennifer Lopez. After all, the latter also wants to be involved in the actor’s kids’ lives.

New Idea, in its Dec. 27 issue, claimed that Garner has also been asking her ex-husband to join her and their children on a holiday getaway. But the Tender Bar actor couldn’t just say because he needs to take Lopez into consideration.

“Ben and Jen’s custody sharing was going really well, but now J.Lo’s on the scene, things aren’t quite so rosy. Jen is making sure Ben understands that her children will be blended with J.Lo’s family on her own timeline, no one else’s. It’s a reality check for Ben, who’s so fixated on his relationship that he had no idea Jen was feeling slighted,” the source said.

The tabloid also claimed that Garner and Affleck were arguing over Lopez when they were photographed in Los Angeles two weeks ago.

Photos of the exes show Affleck with his arms outstretched looking down at Garner. Eagle-eyed netizens claimed that this shows Affleck is fuming about something.

Garner, on the other hand, looked as chill as ever. And it also seemed as though she was just listening to her ex-husband’s rants.

Last week, the A-listers once again made headlines after Affleck dropped a bombshell about their failed marriage.

While speaking with Howard Stern, Affleck praised Garner for being such a wonderful mom to their children. He also said that Garner was a wonderful wife to him.

However, there’s also no denying the fact that Affleck felt trapped in his marriage to Garner. And he also said that if their marriage didn’t end, it’s highly likely for him to still be drinking to this day.

Affleck’s comments did not sit well with Garner’s fans. So, when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he made sure to clarify his statements.

The dad of three said that it wasn’t his intention to shade Garner. And there’s also no reason for him too because she’s been nothing but great. Affleck also said that the media took his words out of context and made it seem as though he was complaining about their marriage.
