Royal fans have been urging Queen Elizabeth to strip Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their titles since they are no longer considered as senior working royals.

However, Prince Harry and Markle still use Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And they also use their titles on official documents and appearances.

In its Dec. 27 issue, Woman’s Day claimed to know the real reason why the royal family can’t remove Prince Harry and Markle’s royal titles. They said that there are fears this would anger the Duke of Sussex even more and the royals are avoiding this.

After all, Prince Harry is set to release a memoir next year. And if the royal family upsets him further, they are convinced that he would expose their dirt in his book.

Prince William is especially worried because he and Prince Harry are still estranged. So, he’s allegedly being careful not to trigger his younger brother.

“This is a critical time for relations between the Sussexes and the palace. Harry is in the final stages of writing his memoir, which everyone worries is being done with a poison pen. He knows that the royals rarely issue detailed public statements on anything. The fear is that if their titles are stripped, Harry will go to town on the palace, knowing their hands will be tied,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Prince Harry has very thick documents ready for printing, and it contains all his communication with Prince William and the other members of the royal family.

Prince Harry is just waiting for the royal family to make an official announcement regarding his and Markle’s royal title, and he’s ready to lash out.

“As was shown in Meghan’s privacy case, there is a treasure trove of extremely candid emails sent between Harry and his staff. There’s no doubt he has a bunch of correspondence between himself and Wills and Kate’s household employees, and even the duke and duchess themselves, too,” the source said.

However, Prince Harry’s memoir would be about the royal family or even his brother. Since it’s a memoir, the book will focus on the Duke of Sussex’s life.

It is possible that his relationship with Prince William, as well as his falling out with Prince Charles will be detailed in the memoir. But this won’t be the main topic of his upcoming book.
