Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are allegedly keen on adding another member to their blended family.

In its Dec. 20 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Lopez and Affleck both want to have another biological child. However, Lopez could no longer carry their baby so they agreed to hire a surrogate instead.

A source said that the couple is in the process of looking for the best surrogate that they could trust with their baby’s life. And the A-listers are also thinking about asking for help and suggestions from their closest celebrity friends.

“Jennifer is quite close with Kim Kardashian and Sarah Jessica Parker, who have both had children via surrogate and are happy to help them navigate the process. Make no mistake, Jen and Ben will be together forever. They never stopped loving each other. The only thing that would make this happy picture complete is the child they’ve always longed for, and they’ll stop at nothing to achieve it,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Affleck and Lopez have the support of their families especially their respective children to have another baby.

And since Affleck and Lopez’s respective children have allegedly become close, they’re excited to take care of the youngest addition to their family.

“Some of Jen’s friends think she’s mad, wanting to become a mom again in her 50s, but she’s never felt better and is absolutely beside herself over the fact she can finally see her dream of a baby with Ben come true. They are feeling very blessed,” the source said.

Other than their baby plans, Affleck and Lopez are also, allegedly, talking about their upcoming wedding. The couple has not yet gotten engaged, but Affleck’s recent statement suggests that he and Lopez are on the same page when it comes to the future of their relationship.

While speaking with the Wall Street Journal, the actor said that the most important things in life are to be a good father, a good person, and eventually become a good husband.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

There’s no proof that Lopez and Affleck want to have another baby. After all, Lopez already has two children and Affleck has three kids.

But if the couple decides to have a baby of their own, the tabloid is correct in saying that this would be through a surrogate.
