Prince Charles Has Allegedly Been Dropping Signs He’s Not Ready To Be King And Kate Middleton Knows
Prince Charles has allegedly been dropping major signs that he’s not ready to be king even though he’s been waiting for his coronation for decades.
In its Dec. 13 issue, New Idea claimed that Prince Charles has been told that Queen Elizabeth would be abdicating soon. No formal announcement has been made just yet, but it’s only a matter of weeks or months before Prince Charles ascends the throne.
Even though the heir to the throne has been waiting for decades to be crowned as king, he’s allegedly feeling anxious because of the ongoing issues within the royal family.
“He’s waited so long for this moment, but the truth is, Charles is worried it’s not the right time for him to step up. All the dramas in the family, from his rift with Prince Harry to his fury at Prince Andrew and everything in between, have taken their toll on him,” the source said.
Luckily for Prince Charles, he has Kate Middleton to open up to when it comes to his anxieties and issues. The dad of two has also been telling the Duchess of Cambridge that she’ll make an incredible queen one day and that she might already be ready to step up to the important role.
Middleton couldn’t be more thrilled to hear these words from her father-in-law. But she couldn’t help but assume that this is Prince Charles’ way of suggesting that after he becomes king, he would immediately pass on the throne to Prince William.
While speaking with the publication, royal author Phil Dampier said that Prince Charles and Middleton have a strong and special bond with each other. And what the future king likes most about her is that Middleton supports Prince William.
However, Prince Charles couldn’t also deny the fact that Middleton is more popular than him. And the recent pandemic proved this to his time and again, especially after he was forced to scale back on his royal duties.
“Charles has had to stay in the background a lot more and isolate because of his age. Kate and William have emerged stronger… and many [already] see Kate as the future queen,” Dampier said.
However, it is important to note that Dampier’s statement is just based on his own observation.
As of late, the queen has not expressed any desire to abdicate. Prince Charles won’t also pass on the throne to Prince William shortly after he ascends the throne.
