Are Katy Perry And Taylor Swift Collaborating On A New Song Together?
Speculations are rife that Taylor Swift and Katy Perry could be making a new song together. However, it seems that these are plain rumors as the singer said that Swift will not appear on her new track “Daisies” yet.
Although there have been reports on the possibility of Swift and Perry’s new collaboration, Perry tried to put all these rumors to rest when she spoke to “Hits Radio Breakfast” this Friday. The singer mentioned that the “Bad Blood” singer will not feature on her new single titled “Daisies” from her latest album “KP5.”
Perry mentioned Swift does not feature on her new studio album “yet.” At the same time, she praised the fans for being so observant. The “American Idol” judge praised her followers stating that “fans are so fun” while speaking on the radio show.
Fans became hopeful of these two good friends coming together for a song when Perry announced her new number “Daisies” while Taylor Swift shared a photo of her wearing a shirt, which was covered with flowers.
While collaboration may not be in the pipeline, Perry did not seem averse to the idea of making a song with Taylor Swift in the future. Apart from focusing on her music career, Katy Perry is also concentrating on becoming a mother.

The songstress revealed the visuals for the track “Daisies” this Friday. She flaunted her baby bump while wearing a lovely white sundress in the video. Perry’s new track and music video already have had over one million views on YouTube within less than a day since it was released this Thursday.
The new video has been shared just a couple of months after she revealed in her “Never Worn White” music video that she was pregnant with her fiancé actor Orlando Bloom. She disclosed the news of her pregnancy quite dramatically by cradling her stomach towards the end of her emotional video.
Perry also revealed the gender of her baby on Instagram mentioning that they are going to have a baby girl. The songstress said that it is certain that she is going to have a child this summer.
She added that her entire life is going to change once she becomes a mom. Perry also said that she was sure of having a different set of emotions after she gives birth to her baby.
Katy Perry’s new track “Daisies” will be a part of her forthcoming album that is slated to be released on Aug. 14 this year. Meanwhile, the songstress is scheduled to perform this new number on the season finale of “American Idol,” Los Angeles Times reports.
