Prince Harry had his fair share of relationships before he met his wife, Meghan Markle.

And unlike his exes, Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas, who both struggled to be in the spotlight for dating a prince, Markle seemed to thrive in this kind of environment.

In its Dec. 8 issue, Closer UK claimed that Prince Harry has devoted his entire life to Markle because she’s the one who decided to stay with him amid all his problems and family issues.

So, even if his life as a non-royal is not necessarily easy, he has no choice but to stick with his wife.

To make things worse, Prince Harry doesn’t have anyone but Markle. He cut ties with the royal family and he doesn’t also have a home to go back to.

“It’s clear Harry was utterly beguiled by Meghan from their first date, but even more than that, she has given him a sense of warmth and unconditional love that he hasn’t had since he lost his mother. Meghan was Harry’s lifeboat in the storm. This is the secret hold she has over him,” a source said.

Markle also had her fair share of struggles in life. She came from a dysfunctional family that no one knew about when she was still an actress. And since her husband also had similar experiences, they couldn’t help but turn to each other for support.

“This, coupled with the previous women in his life leaving, is ironically what’s led to the last four years of scandal – by making him more adamant to tear up the royal rule book and do things their own way,” the source said.

But amid all their individual problems, Prince Harry and Markle chose each other. And they are committed to staying true to each other.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also made headlines recently after it was revealed that Prince Charles was the one that asked the couple about the color of their baby’s skin.

In the book Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan, a source told author Christopher Andersen that Prince Charles made the cryptic comment to his wife, Camilla while they were having breakfast on the day of Prince Harry and Markle’s engagement.

Prince Charles reportedly wondered what their baby’s skin color would look like, and Camilla was taken aback by the comment. She responded to her husband by saying that the couple’s baby will most definitely be gorgeous, according to People.
