Jennifer Lopez couldn’t allegedly wait for Ben Affleck to propose to her that’s why she decided to beg him to do so.

In its Nov. 29 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Lopez is so sure about Affleck that she doesn’t see any reason why they need to wait.

“Jennifer left him a sly joke about her ‘barren’ ring finger. She likes the commitment of marriage and doesn’t see any reason to wait. She’s wanted to have the security of marriage long before Ben walked back into her life and she’s starting to get impatient trying to pin down a date,” a source said.

The insider also claimed that Lopez and Affleck both have traditional family values. So, she’s surprised that it’s taking the actor very long to propose to her.

In fact, Lopez doesn’t allegedly understand what keeps Affleck long to pop the question.

“He wants to marry her. But he’s genuinely worried he might put her through the same alcoholic hell he put Jennifer Garner through. It’s all normal for him to be nervous, but he’s also got a great sobriety team around him, and Jen’s spoken to most of them, as a group and individually. So, she knows the pitfalls and she’s clued in,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Lopez vowed to support Affleck through his sobriety and even if he relapses. However, she doesn’t want to be her boyfriend’s sobriety coach. But she will make sure that she and Affleck have a safety plan in place.

Since Lopez is determined to wed Affleck, she’s also willing to risk it all for him. Lopez is also opening herself up for hurt and failure but she will give her relationship with Affleck her 100 percent.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. After all, Lopez isn’t pressuring Affleck to propose to her. And there’s no reason for her too. Lopez and Affleck have already been married before so there’s no reason for them to pressure each other.

It’s not also true that Lopez is worried about Affleck’s sobriety because the actor has been sober even before they got back together.

Affleck dealt with his addiction for years. And his ex-wife, Garner was there to support him through it all. So, fans can also expect the same from Lopez because she has known Affleck for decades.
