Prince Andrew Allegedly Attempted Suicide After Paying Jeffrey Epstein $15M ‘Honey Trap’
Prince Andrew allegedly attempted to take his own life after he was accused of sexual abuse and misconduct.
According to Globe, the Duke of York was very stressed over the allegations that he tried to hide his tracks. The dad of two allegedly paid the late Jeffrey Epstein $15 million in a honey trap.
Before taking his own life, Epstein allegedly blackmailed Prince Andrew over the latter’s sex tapes that were recorded using spy cameras at the former’s mansions.
Since Prince Andrew didn’t want the sex tapes to be released to the public, he agreed to pay Epstein a huge sum of money. However, Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband has also been adamant at saying that he never hooked up with underage girls.
The source said that Prince Andrew agreed to pay the money to prevent the scandal from escalating and to protect Queen Elizabeth. After all, he knows that the monarch should be spared for more embarrassment.
Prince Andrew's sexual abuse scandal came in the heels of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to quit the royal family.
Unfortunately, Prince Andrew’s alleged sexual abuse case isn’t over even though reports have seemingly died down in recent months. After all, the Duke of York decided to quit his royal duties to prevent further investigation.
According to the tabloid, Prince Andrew attempted to kill himself for fear that he could face extradition in the United States. He has also been begging for a no-jail plea after being indicted by a federal grand jury.
As of late, none of the claims made by the tabloid have been confirmed by the palace or by Prince Andrew. It is also unlikely for the dad of two to have attempted to commit suicide.
Epstein, on the other hand, took his own life while awaiting trial in his New York City jail cell in August 2019.
In November, rumors also swirled that the FBI is planning to raid Buckingham Palace after Prince Andrew gave his controversial interview to the BBC.
According to Woman’s Day, Prince Andrew’s association with Epstein is more than enough reason for the FBI to investigate him and the royal family. A source told the tabloid that Prince Andrew isn’t entitled to any kind of diplomatic immunity because of what he did.
However, Gossip Cop debunked the claims. The publication also said that the FBI doesn’t have any jurisdiction over the royal palaces in the United Kingdom.
