Prince William, Kate Middleton May Stay With Prince Harry, Meghan During U.S. Visit, Here's Why
Prince William and Kate Middleton are about to visit the U.S. as part of their Earthshot Prize tour. As there are claims that the Cambridges may stay with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Sussexes, allegedly, want to see a "show of commitment" from the two.
A royal insider told Heatworld that Prince William and Kate might choose to stay with Prince Harry and Meghan during their U.S. tour. However, the controversial royals might want to ensure things and need a "tentative date or time" to put in their diary sometime next year.
The source continued that Prince Harry and Meghan had not had any royal visitors since they moved to the U.S. because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, now that the travel restrictions had eased up both in the U.K. and the U.S., everything might change.
The News noted the main reason Prince William and Kate might want to be with a family is that his brother and sister-in-law might think it would be "weird" if they did not stay with them. This, too, might be the perfect time for them to "put aside their differences" by spending some quality time together in California.
They would be away from all the "meddling and negativity" if they were in England. In addition, the former actress might feel they would be playing by her rules, knowing they would stay in her own house and home country.
Meanwhile, as Prince William and Kate are about to go to the U.S., rumors have it Prince Harry and Meghan may have no plans to return to the U.K. to celebrate the holidays with Queen Elizabeth II. Sadly, it will be the monarch's first Christmas without her husband, Prince Phillip, who died in April.
She, too, has had some health concerns as of late. Multiple resources told Page Six the former senior royals received an invitation to join the royal family at Sandringham for Christmas, but they would not do so.
The staff, reportedly, knew they were not coming due to the logistics and planning of the family Christmas. If they would, they would have already confirmed it to them by now.
But now that Prince Phillip is gone, many hope that Prince Harry and Meghan may want to join Her Majesty. However, the royal couple does not want to attract everyone's attention when they go to the U.K., so they will opt to stay in California.
Despite that, a royal source said they needed to rip the "Band-Aid" off and just get on with it. Queen Elizabeth usually has her family at Sandringham to celebrate Christmas, but it remains to be seen if Prince Harry and Meghan will come. (Business Times)
