Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott Allegedly Canceled Their Upcoming Wedding Following Astroworld Tragedy
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott allegedly decided to cancel their upcoming wedding following the Astroworld tragedy.
As of late, nine people have already been confirmed dead following the accident.
In its Nov. 22 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Jenner and Scott were both devastated following the incident. Since they didn’t want their fans to think that they were celebrating while everyone is in mourning, they decided to just cancel their nuptials.
“Kylie was going all-out. It was going to cost millions of dollars but it would be inappropriate to have a big celebration right now. She had even tapped Drake to perform,” the source said.
The source also said that the couple needs to shell out more money following the accident because fans will be coming after them. In fact, one of the injured concertgoers already filed a million-dollar lawsuit against Scott.
“Travis Scott, who is the brainchild of this concert, routinely has a culture of rage, of mosh pits, and creating dangerous situations at these concerts. That, combined with them not adequately staffing this event, led to a preventable disaster in which hundreds of people got trampled and at least nine are dead at the moment,” the source said.
Jenner released a statement following the accident saying that she and Scott didn’t have any idea that an accident occurred at the concert. The Kylie Cosmetics mogul added that they only found out about the incident in the news hours after it ended.
However, some people are still putting the blame on Scott and his team before they refused to end the concert even when people were already complaining.
At one point, the rapper stopped his performance to seek help from one of the attendees who passed out. But just a few minutes later, his performance continued until it was already too late and hundreds already became injured.
However, the tabloid’s claims suggesting that Jenner and Scott have decided to cancel their wedding are not true. Jenner and Scott are not even engaged yet so there’s no reason for them to plan a wedding.
And if there was no wedding to begin with then there’s no event to cancel.
Multiple tabloids have been insisting that Jenner and Scott are tying the knot simply because they have been together for years. They will soon have two children together.
However, the decision to wed or not to wed is theirs and everyone should respect that.
