Kelly Clarkson Has Allegedly Been Slamming Her Ex-Husband But Cashes On Their Divorce
Kelly Clarkson allegedly has a lot of things to say about her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. And her nonstop criticisms are seen as Clarkson’s way of chasing in on their split.
In its Oct. 25 issue, Life & Style slammed the first American Idol winner for allegedly turning her trash into treasure. After all, Kelly Clarkson just released her new Christmas album, and fans believe that one of the tracks is a reference to her divorce.
“Kelly is slamming her ex and cashing in on their divorce at the same time. But she’s not seeking sympathy,” the source said.
Even though Clarkson was initially asked to pay Blackstock $200,000 in monthly spousal support, it’s been mostly a win for the singer because the judge awarded her most of their assets and properties.
And there’s no denying the fact that Clarkson’s job these days has been thriving.
Other than her new Christmas album, the singer continues to host her own show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Clarkson also serves as a judge on The Voice, where she reportedly makes almost $2 million a month.
“The divorce has seemingly made fans that much more interested in Kelly. Her marriage may be over, but Team Kelly just keeps growing,” the source said.
However, the tabloid was unable to provide concrete proof that Clarkson has been cashing on her divorce from Blackstock. And she doesn’t have any reason to.
Even the tabloid itself said that Clarkson is making millions per month on one show alone.
The singer is also making a hefty sum on her Christmas album, as well as her talk show. So, there’s no reason for her to cash in on her divorce.
It’s just unfortunate that some of the songs in Clarkson’s Christmas album were linked to her divorce because of their lyrics. However, the singer has not directly confirmed that the tracks were written with Blackstock in mind.
Clarkson also seems to be doing well one year after her divorce. She has sole physical and legal custody of her two children, River Rose and Remington.
However, Blackstock has visitation rights for his kids.
As of late, it’s also unclear if Clarkson and Blackstock have already put the past behind them and are now friends for the sake of their young children.
After all, these things happen behind closed doors just like their divorce.
