Although Gwyneth Paltrow rarely posts her daughter Apple Martin’s pictures on social media, she surprised her fans on Thursday by sharing pictures of her eldest daughter and wished her a happy sixteenth birthday.

The endearing pictures of Apple on her sixteenth birthday were a revelation once again that she is a spitting image of her famous movie star mom. Paltrow was full of praises for her gorgeous look-alike daughter and called her “wickedly intelligent”, as well as, a hard worker on Thursday.

The 47-year-old Goop maven also addressed her eldest child as “pure joy” on her Instagram Page. The proud mother went on to reveal that her daughter is growing up quite fast by uploading some stunning pictures of her.

The actress-producer had a lengthy sweet dedication for her daughter on Instagram and mentioned: “I can’t believe I’m actually writing these words but … happy sweet sixteen my darling girl.” Paltrow also called her child the light of her heart and told Apple that she has the “best, most dry, most brilliant sense of humor.”

Paltrow continued how much she loved their “nightly evening chats” and confessed that she has the “best time” being her mother. Paltrow also told her daughter: “You work hard to get whatever it is you want to achieve, and you have grit and responsibility in spades."

She continued how lucky she is to be her mother and called her daughter a “beautiful, kind young woman.” Page Six reports that Gwyneth Paltrow thanked her child for choosing her and wrote: “I adore you to the moon and back a zillion times.”

While Paltrow felt sorry that her daughter had to celebrate her birthday during these unusual circumstances, she added that her daughter finds “the best in everything.” Paltrow shares two kids with her ex-husband Chris Martin- Apple and their 14-year-old son, Moses.

Meanwhile, Apple looked beautiful as she struck a pose in their living room. She was snapped in a stylish rose-patterned dress in the photo but did not wear shoes. The teenager chose a chic chain-link necklace as her accessory. The young lady wore her blonde hair loose and long, which is also her mom’s signature hairstyle.

Paltrow embraced the art of socially distancing celebrations last month while celebrating her son’s fourteenth year. She surprised her teenage son by organizing a special drive-by party with her friends.

Gwyneth Paltrow and her former spouse Chris Martin started dating each other in 2002 and got married the following year. They welcomed their firstborn Apple Martin in 2004 while their younger child Moses was born a  couple of years later, Daily Mail reports.
