Tom Cruise is allegedly struggling to film his scenes in Mission: Impossible after his breakup from co-star, Hayley Atwell.

In its Oct. 25 issue, Star claimed that Cruise’s face on set says it all. After all, the actor is trying his best to film his scenes, but there’s no denying the fact that it’s been a chore.

“It’s clear by the expression on Tom’s face whenever he’s in the same vicinity as Hayley that he’s pretty crushed that she ended things,” the source said.

The insider also alleged that Cruised took the breakup very hard because he didn’t see it coming.

“He swears it came out of nowhere, that there were no issues. He doesn’t understand what went wrong,” the source said.

Following the split, Cruise is allegedly reeling because of his ego. And being single again has not helped with the actor’s self-esteem.

Earlier this month, multiple tabloids reported about Cruise and Atwell’s alleged split.

The majority of them claimed that it was the actor’s head-strong personality that urged Atwell to call it quits.

One tabloid said that Cruise didn’t want to let Atwell go that’s why he promised her that he would change. However, Atwell refused to listen to her.

However, none of the tabloids’ claims have been proven to be accurate. After all, there is still no confirmation from Cruise and Atwell that they are dating or that they ever dated.

It’s not uncommon for co-stars to be linked to each other while starring in a project together. So, it’s only a matter of time before fans know the real score between the two.

The tabloid’s claims that Cruise is taking the alleged split so hard is what may have suggested that their claims are inaccurate.

If Cruise and Atwell really dated and split weeks ago, this wouldn’t be the actor’s first breakup. He was married twice before – to Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes. But the actor managed to move on from those splits.

So, it seems unlikely that he would have a hard time with his alleged breakup with Atwell.

The tabloid’s headline also seemed misleading. They said that there’s awkwardness on the set of Mission: Impossible because of Cruise and Atwell’s split.

However, they published a photo of the co-stars smiling from ear and ear while staring into each other’s eyes. The photo didn’t seemingly sell the story that they were going after.
